Javascript debugging in eclipse 3.6 with webworks sdk 2 and Plugin 2.5.1

Hello,

before I was upgrading my eclipse environemt to webworks sdk2 I was able to debug my javascript on simulators in eclipse. I saw all errors in the console view, but now there is only the compiler status.

I've updated my eclipse with eclipse installer and the link "BlackBerry WebWorks - http://www.blackberry.com/go/eclipseUpdate/3.6/web".

Please, can anyone tell me how I must reconfigure my eclipse. I googled a lot but no tutorial helped!

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Klamauck

Hi Klamauck,

Debugging is only possible for 5.0 simulators, are you trying to use 6.0 sims?

Re: Javascript debugging in eclipse 3.6 with webworks sdk 2 and Plugin 2.5.1

Hi Jeff,

thx for you fast reply. I am using various blackberry simulators (eq. 9000 8520 9700 9780 ...). If I run 5.0 simulators with eclipse debug mode I'll also get nothing.

Is there a other way to debug 6 OS simulators?

Thx.

Hi Klamauck,

Can you look under the Run Menu > Debug Configurations and see if the "BlackBerry WebWorks" configuration exists on the left hand side?
