If anyone's interested I've just released a Joypad Extension for WebWorks (Cordova port next)
Its currently in https://github.com/peardox/bb10webworks-ext/tree/m
This will shortly be moved into the main BB WebWorks Extensions github repo (this is my development copy)
You'll need a Joypad to use it of course
[Erik - is the compo still running so the WW gang can get some dev kit?]

I compiled it against 10.1.0.4211
Your WW2 Q - not quite yet but sometime this week
WW2 is Cordova based, this will be my first Cordova port.
Thankfully I work closely with the guys who develop the Cordova stuff so have lots of help at hand if anything goes not as expected.
Gimme til end of the week and we'll have a WW2 versionj to play with as well...

The gamepad offer is officially running until February 28th, so plenty of time to get some WebWorks representation in the Gamepad Ready category of BlackBerry World.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: This Program applies to gaming apps which are posted in BlackBerry World in the Game Category ("App"). To be eligible for a Reward, upgrade your gaming App so that it is Gamepad enabled. The first 250 Vendors to submit their Gamepad enabled App in "draft" or "for review" form to BlackBerry World will be eligible for a Category 1 Reward. Once your Gamepad enabled App has been approved in BlackBerry World, you will be eligible to receive a Category 2 Reward.
Check out the full T&Cs here:
Big thank you, Peardox, for all your efforts to bring this to the community.

Thanks for the update Erik
OK Guys - this just became a lot easier
You need my extension and something that uses it
As long as you add the permission use_gamepad (see my readme) to your app you qualify
BB will send you a Moga and SteelSeries controller while they have stock left
There's also a $75k marketing budget prize for one of us / them (Cascades crowd)
I would strongly urge Built For Blackberry compliance as that way you get on two lists - they're also doing a Built For Joypads soon (Feb I guess)

I updated the extension to almost release (I've got a quirk on the SteelSeries) I wanna look at before final
The new demo is the final and works (almost) as desired
I would appreciate any feedback if anyone compiles the new demo up

Gotta restart Cordy
PC died so I'm behind schedule
TimW etc are fully with me on this so I have all the technical info I need
Only got back online today and have paying work that needs doing for a few days (sorry - can't be 100% charity)
