Re: Just packaged JQueryMobile app locally and wont work - please advise

Ah that's a pain. I submitted within the last 5 hours or so and it's been accepted in terms of qualifying for the offer.

Good point about the platform bug issue. I suppose I just wasn't expecting it to all come crashing down on me when I packaged it locally ready for submission.. Still nervous, but hopefully even if it is rejected I can discuss it with RIM - especially if it is a platform bug.. Pretty fundamental one that I imagine they will want to fix asap.

Isn't the local ajax load issue a bug in the way the simulator handles local page loading - rather than it being a JQM

problem?

I'm pretty sure it's related to the local loading thing. That's why I didn't put too much energy in testing so far because it's the most sensible explanation really.

There are still lots of weird local quirks on the simulator.

I also noticed that when using

I get nothing.

When using

Another one of those things that are crazy and IMHO not worth diving into all that deep because they've got to be platform issues.
