Keytool Error -- java.io.FileNotFoundException

[ Edited ]

I'm getting a weird error when attempting to generate a developer certificate for the Playbook:

"keytool error: java.io.FileNotFoundException: sigtool.p12 (Access is denied)"

I searched the forums (and the Web), and I couldn't find any similar issues. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Keytool Error -- java.io.FileNotFoundException

the error is self descriptive.

Your operating system is not allowing your command to create sigtool.p12 on your disk as the folder where you are trying to create the file is not allowed to write files.

If you are using Windows right click on your Webworks SDK folder, goto properties and change your permissions so that you can read and wrie.

If you are still having problems then reply with further details like your OS and location of your Webworks sdk folder.

Just an additional point, if you right click the command prompt from the start menu and select Run As Administrator, you'll get the corerct permission for just that session.
