Loading page

I am using a loading page to redirect someone to a URL.  I am trying to load an animated gif onto the loading page, but can't get it to work.  Here's the html I have tried.  Does anyone know how to get this to work on a BB?

<html>

<head>
<title>Product Locator</title>
<script language="JavaScript">
if(document.images) image1 = new Image(); image1.src='/images/loading.gif';
</script>
<meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="3;url=http://companyintranet/bbportal/">
</head>

<body style="background-image: url(/images/loading.gif); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: 50% 50%;">

</body>

</html>

Re: Loading page

hello,

why do you use javascript ?

I'd do just that :

html >
head >
title >Product Locator /title >
meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="3;url=...." >
/head >

body >

img src="/images/loading.gif" alt="loading..." >

/body >
/html >

Re: Loading page

It says Loading images at the bottom, but the image never comes to the screen and it redirects you to the page.

Re: Loading page

it you had added the alt="loading website" attribute in the img tag, you would have understood immediately Smiley Happy
