Mistake in sigtool.p12

OK, one more question Smiley Happy

i, just now, realize that i made a mistake while i run the command

blackberry-keytool -genkeypair -keystore sigtool.p12 -storepass <p12 password> -dname "cn=<company name>" -alias author

 my bad i ran this

blackberry-keytool -genkeypair -keystore sigtool.p12 -storepass <p12 password> -dname "cn=<company name>" -alias my_company_name

is there a way to fix it or i have to request for a new .csj file? :'(

Re: Mistake in sigtool.p12

The step you have described simply generates a local key, that you then register with the BlackBerry code signing servers.  if you used this sigtool.p12 file to complete the code signing registration process, then yes you will likely need a new key if you are discovering that you are not able to sign your applications.
