You'll have to drop the .htaccess file from the build to make the zip work.
I'm guessing from the last output that you don't have the USB drivers for the device installed. Have you installed the Desktop Manager software or the USB Drivers directly?
You can get them from here: http://ca.blackberry.com/software/desktop.html

So close, I'm getting this error:
build.bbos.prod: [exec] [INFO] Parsing command line options [exec] [INFO] Parsing bbwp.properties [exec] [INFO] Validating application archive [exec] [INFO] Parsing config.xml [exec] [WARNING] Failed to find a <feature> element [exec] [INFO] Populating application source [exec] [INFO] Compiling BlackBerry WebWorks application [exec] Fatal Internal error: java.lang.NullPointerException [exec] [ERROR] RAPC exception occurred [echo] Finished
Is this from the project itself?

Do you have a source folder or src folder in your project?
The old packager had this quirk where it tried to use a directory of one of those names (I can't remember which) and if you already had one it failed like that.

I don't have anything named src or source. Within the main folder I have: build, hooks, merges, platforms, plugins, www, config.xml and the .zip

Hmm. This might be a bit of a mess as that's a Cordova or PhoneGap application, not a typical WebWorks 1.0 app. I'm not sure if it's going to be more work or not yet though.
Can you send me the zip file it created? firstname.lastname@example.org
And what is in the build directory?

Unfortunately I'm not at liberty to sent you the .zip it's just a copy of the build folder. The build folder contains: css, hooks, js, merges, platforms, plugins, www and config.xml.
I've seen cordova in a couple different places. So it's certainly a cordova project.

Can you run cordova -version in the project?
Also, cordova plugin list, and provide the output?
I'm wondering about how recent the Cordova stuff is, and what it depends on. We need to decide whether to use Cordova to build, or strip out the www content and build it with WebWorks.
