New to HTML5 development

Hi guys,

I just looked into the capabilities if html5 and was very interested into devloping playbook apps through html. I do know the basics and a bit more to develop apps but i got a few questions so any help would be appreciated.

Let's say I wanted to create a diary in which users can store their personal stuff. And also I have list of words stored somewhere and I want these words to be highlighted when the user enters them into their diary.

So how do i approach this?

Re: New to HTML5 development

Morning Boss,

What I would recommend is to take a look at this online resouce as it is one of the best out there: http://diveintohtml5.info/  This info will help you understand how to store informaiton off line while also getting you a bit below the "introduction" surface.

As for tagging information within an entry, there are many ways this can be done however where I would start is to determine a complete set of requirements before putting "fingers on keys". (It could be a simple as parsing each word in an entry when it is loaded and adding a CSS style to any match)
