Re: Opening External Video Player

So far, I was not able to reproduce the issue you are seeing. When I hit play, the video plays inline. I've tried a number of builds on 10.1.X.

On your device, go to Settings > About > Select OS under Category, and reply with OS Version. and BuildID.

Re: Opening External Video Player

Hello,

we tested with several devices, including some owned by our Blackberry colleagues.
Mine has the following info (as per your request):

OS: Blackberry 10
Sw Release: 10.1.0.273
Os Version: 10.1.0.1720
Build ID: 508730
WebKit Version: 10.1.0.2381
Browser Version: 10.1.0.65

Thank you for your help

Re: Opening External Video Player

If I try to open the link http://informorifletto.altervista.org/video.html from my device, starts native player and not HTML.

Re: Opening External Video Player

michelelazappa, that is by design. You need to add the tag described in the KB to stop it from going to the "native" player. If you look at the source of the URL you posted, the website does NOT have this tag.

Enon, I loaded build 1720 onto the same device and it works as designed for me. Video plays inline. Here's my code:

<html>
  <head>
  	<title>Share Card example</title>
  </head>
  	<body>
  		<video width="768" webkit-playsinline controls>
			<source src="video.mp4" type="video/mp4">
		</video>
	</body>
</html>

 At this point, there is not much more I can do. I have tested the code above on a number of OS builds and devices including yours and the behaviour I see is working as designed.

Re: Opening External Video Player

Hi, when we play the video in this link http://informorifletto.altervista.org/video.html that have this code:

<video width="768" webkit-playsinline controls>
<source src="http://content.bitsontherun.com/videos/wDqjiZXZ-m0JsjUy0.mp4" type="video/mp4">
		</video>

 we see this screenshot:

http://informorifletto.altervista.org/IMG_00000001.png

http://informorifletto.altervista.org/IMG_00000002.png

It's native player, how we play html5 player?

When i press back button, we see this screenshot(html5 player):

http://informorifletto.altervista.org/IMG_00000003.png

How we play directly html5 player.

Thanks
