Is there a way to stop a page from being overscrolled?

I wanted to utilize an interface where I have a scollable area with couple toolbars one at the top and nother at the bottom. However it seems that not only scrolling is messing up with the fixed position divs but also the central are can be dragged until grey background is showing.

Would the only way be to have page that is not scrollable at all?

Re: Overscrolling

Nope, with the inertia scrolling we are a bit buggered when it comes to fixed divs.

The best practice as suggested by the devs here is to hide to toolbars when scrolling starts and show them when the scrolling finishes.

I just moved my tools to the left hand side of the screen as we can only force landscape mode at this point and horizontal realestate is more available than vertical.
