Phone Number Hyperlinking in Browser

Hi All,

My first post, so hi to everyone!!  My problem relates to phone number recognition in the Blackberry Browser:  I have created a simple webpage using ASP and am displaying a series of contact telephone numbers at the bottom of the page.  Whilst phone numbers like 07811987654 will automatically be recognised as phone numbers and be shown as a hyperlink which, when pressed, will phone that number - internal numbers such as 380 are not recognised as phone numbers because they are just a series of numbers.

I have read a lot of articles which state how it is possible to turn off the automatic hyperlinking using the command:

<meta name="x-rim-auto-match" http-equiv="x-rim-auto-match" forua="true" content=none" />

But I cant seem to find any way of configuring the settings to specify numbers that should be shown as hyperlinks.

I was hoping that there is a way that I could manually use html tags to tell the browser to interpret anything between the tags as a phone number.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Re: Phone Number Hyperlinking in Browser

you just have to put the phone number inside a A element.
