[PlayBook WebWorks] blackberry.invoke email?

Per the WebWorks-for-Playbook API reference, a WebWorks application running on the PlayBook can invoke the local web browser application with a given URL via something like:

blackberry.invoke.invoke(blackberry.invoke.APP_BROWSER, { url: browserUrl });

Question:

Is there (or will there be) a similar WebWorks-for-Playbook API to invoke the local email client, similar to what an HTML <a href="mailto:email-address"> element would do?  (E.g., a blackberry.invoke.APP_EMAIL?)

Re: [PlayBook WebWorks] blackberry.invoke email?

Hi

I need to send an attachment via e-mail client programatically in playbook webworks

I had implemented it in BlackBerry Curve using Java Extension.

But Jave Extension is not getting recognized in PlayBook

Also I went through this post, But there is no solution to add mail attachment

Also is it possible to use AIR extension for the mail attachment in PlayBook webworks
http://diadraw.com/e-mail-native-extension-updated-for-adobe-air-3-4-and-ios-6-0/

If there is any other way to invoke mail client in Playbook weborks please share

Thanks

Regards

Joel
