I was wondering if it was possible to prompt the user for a download location in which they can choose to save a file from my Widget Application?
I was looking at the FILE API provided, but would rather not have to create something like this from scratch.
Thanks to any responders

Hmmm.. There is a way to get a file dialog to open a file from a location.. maybe there is a way to make it work for you to choose a location to save your file..

Thanks, I didn't even consider it to be part of gears. I'll look into it! But I guess I might have to write my own :/
Edit: If there's a way to save a file using the widget, I might as well use that and scrap the idea that the user can choose where they want to save it.
