Problem with blackberry.io.file.saveFile: Error #3006

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I'm currently storing a lot of binary files, for offline usage with my Pocket client, at some point I always get this error code during blackberry.io.file.saveFile

Error: Error #3006

I did not find any solution for that problem and I don't know what the code means?! I already searched for that code on this forum and with Google, but with no luck. Smiley Sad Anybody here knows what that means?

The image in this case (if that could be important):

Any help would be really much appreciated!

Cheers,

Sven

Re: Problem with blackberry.io.file.saveFile: Error #3006

Which WebWorks SDK is this for - Smartphone (Java) or Tablet OS (AIR) or BlackBerry 10?

I just did a search through the source code of the Smartphone SDK and did not find any matches on that error code:

C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.3.0.9\device_templates\blackberry\web\widget

This suggests the error is coming from the BlackBerry OS, instead of WebWorks SDK.

Can you tell me, is there any pattern when you see this error?  For instance, do you enable mass-storage mode (will lock the file system) or are you changing a removable microSD card?

Hi Adam!

Sorry for my late answer, but I don't know exactly what the problem was. I had some other issues with that code too, and I decided to rewrite it completely. Now everything works fine. So problem is gone.

Thanks anyway.

Cheers,

Sven
