Problems installing BB10 WebWorks SDK on Windows 7

Help! I'm trying to get set up for development, but can't get the BB10-WebWorks-SDK_1.0.2.exe file to run properly. I'm telling it to run as the administrator, and I get the InstallAnywhere dialog box with a message that it's preparing to install, but when the progress bar gets to 100% the window closes with no messages or other helpful diagnostic information provided.

I've tried running it in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP SP3, but there's no difference in behavior. Also tried rebooting - cause it's Windows and that never hurts - but it still behaves the same way.

I'm seeing the same thing with the BlackBerry10Simulator file, but it installed the VMWare Player just fine.

Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated,

Burk

Make sure you're using the latest version

Thanks for the quick reply and link. Sadly I'm still seeing the same behavior with or without compatability mode. InstallAnywhere shuts down as soon as the progress bar gets to 100%.

Check for file consistency, maybe it's damaged during download.

Have you tried disabling UAC?
