Problems with installing Apache in Eclipse

I'm following the instructions from the Debugging your First Web Application in Eclipse pdf and have run into some issues. I got warnings during the Apache Tomcat 6.0 install process but it seems to have installed ok. Is there a particular directory I should have installed it into? It's currently in the C:Users/Administrator directory in a folder I named Apache Webserver.

In Eclipse's servers tab, it shows Tomcat v6.0 at localhost [Started, Synchronized].

On page 10 of the pdf, it says to right click on the server and select Add and Remove projects. When I right click, I only see an option for Add and Remove. When I select it, I get an error message popup saying There are no resources that can be added or removed from that server.

When I right click on the server and go to New, it only gives an option for a New->Server.

What am I doing wrong?
