Hi all, I'm trying to compile a simple widget to test and I keep getting the same error. " RAPC exception occurred".
This is my full command line out put:
C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Widget Packager>bbwp.exe web/GroceryList.zip
[INFO] Parsing command line options
[INFO] Parsing bbwp.properties
[INFO] Validating widget archive
[INFO] Parsing config.xml
[INFO] Populating widget source
[INFO] Compiling widget
[ERROR] RAPC exception occurred
Obviously this is very helpful as it doesn't tell me what caused the exception.
Can anyone give me any suggestions where to look / what to try?
I'm using Widget SDK beta 3
Core 2 Duo

Can you run the command line with the "verbose" switch /v and post the results?

I had the same error. When compiling with BB Widget Packager there's no other information. When compiling with the Eclipse Web Plug-in, an I/O error appears due to non recognized characters.
My description and some values in tags had accents (because i'm latinamerican). Change all special characters and every thing goes fine.
