Reading/Saving Text Files Using HTML5 as a basis for code

Hi, I am new and I did some searching and I did find a variety of solutions that seemed a bit more complicated than what I would like. I would like someone to direct me to something that would teach me to do two things.

1) Read text files (basically my difficultly lies with how to interact with the playbook file system to read files and 2) how to save text files with output.

Try and catch is not required.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Reading/Saving Text Files Using HTML5 as a basis for code

Hello ignites,

The following thread has an example for manipulating text files, and also contains a link to another thread by Tim Windsor where he outlines working with other file types:

Let me know if you have any questions.
