Ripple is not creating a .cod file

I am using the Ripple emulator to create the "Hello world" project (a beginner).  The build seems to work, and I get the "Build succeeded!" message.  A zip file is created in the output folder, but no .cod file.

I am using BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.3.1.5, and the jdk1.6.0_45 toolkit.  The device is the Blackberry  Curve 9300 and the Blackberry OS is v 6.

How can I solve this problem?  I will welcome any help offered.

Re: Ripple is not creating a .cod file

The BlackBerry WebWorks SDK v 2.3.1.5. should produce two output folders if the app was successfully compiled:

/OTAInstall

/StandardInstall

What is the path of the output folder you have specified in the /settings screen of Ripple?

Re: Ripple is not creating a .cod file

Just to confirm, is it a 32-bit version of the JDK or a 64-bit version?

Re: Ripple is not creating a .cod file

The Java SDK installed is jdk1.6.0_45.  I believe that it is 32-bit.

Re: Ripple is not creating a .cod file

Let's eliminate Ripple from the equation for a moment. Can you please:
- ZIP your project folder (so your config.xml is at the root fo the ZIP.)
- Copy your ZIP file to your WebWorks SDK folder (i.e. same folder as bbwp.)
- Open a command-prompt and navigate to the WebWorks SDK folder.
- From the command-prompt, run the script: bbwp MyApp.zip

No other parameters should be required just yet, and of course you would replace MyApp with what your ZIP file is called.

Can you please give that a shot, and then copy/paste the full console output you get?

Re: Ripple is not creating a .cod file

Thank you, Oros.  I followed your instructions, but got no output, as you would see.:

When I entered the bbwp command it asked for permission to run bbwp.exe.  After i gave permission nothing else happened, and there was no output.
