Scoreloop-like Leaderboard and achievements system

Hi,

I have been wondering, what leader board and achievements systems have you all been using for Web Works games? As I have tried three different ones:

  1. Clay.io
  2. Openkit.io
  3. Scoreoid

None of these suited my game and Scoreoid appears to be difficult to set everything up. I have asked Scoreloop (the achievements system for Native Blackberry games which also powers the 'Games app' on BB10) if they had a Web Works version of Scoreloop planned, and they said they haven't. Which means us Web Works developers have no way of getting access to the Games app. Therefore, I am asking what alternatives are you using to provide leaderboards and achievements within your game?

Thanks

I'm planning an extension (template is already waiting to be filled in on my GitHub)

Just waiting for the API

Awesome! How long do you think until you'd have everything set up?

Re: Scoreloop-like Leaderboard and achievements system

I'll have a better idea tomorrow how much work is involved

Most of it seems fairly easy but UI definitely won't be possible

Just gonna try out the Cascades sample so I can get a handle on what's meant to happen

Re: Scoreloop-like Leaderboard and achievements system

Okay, UI isn't a problem for me, just a leaderboard is all I need

Re: Scoreloop-like Leaderboard and achievements system

Having read thru a load of the API stuff most things seems get-aroundable

The only big issue is if anything needs BPS Events (there have been examples with and without so far)

We don't get the event loop in Extensions (something that has ben put in for a fix)

Re: Scoreloop-like Leaderboard and achievements system

Okay, so do you think we could implement it into Webworks applications as well as in cascades?
