Set cursor after using internal link

I've got some large HTML-files which contain company-information and all our clients that work within that company. Very easy to look up an emailaddress or phonenumber. Scrolling down to find a contact takes a lot of time. As a solution, I placed the surnames at the top of the HTML. After clicking a surname, the part of the HTML-file is shown containing the client-information.

HTML I used:

<A href="#surname">Surname</A>

<A name="Surname">Mr. Surname</A>

The problem is that de cursor stays at the top of the page on the link. So when scrolling, I'm back on the top again.

Is there a way to set the cursor to the position where the internal link points to?
