Signing app with the WebWorks SDK doesn't generate COD files

Hi,

I'm trying to sign my app following this documentation : https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/signing_your_smartphone_app_1919664_11.html

After running :

bbwp C:\myapp\HelloWorld.zip -g mypassword -o C:\myapp\signed

on windows (replacing the values with mine of course), I only get a .bar file and no OTAInstall and StandardInstall folders.

Furthermore I don't receive any email from the RIM signing authority.

Any thoughts about that?

Thanks,

Chris

Re: Signing app with the WebWorks SDK doesn't generate COD files

Hi,

Is your app targeting BBOS, Tablet OS or BB10?

You need to use this SDK to build COD files for BBOS:

Re: Signing app with the WebWorks SDK doesn't generate COD files

Hi Bryan,

I'm targetting BB10and I am using the bb10 webworks SDK. I am a bit confused because I read somewhere else (I can't find the link) that you have to provide a .bar file to the appworld.

I can't test it yes as I'm still waiting for my vendor account to be approved.

Thanks,

Chris

Yes - all you need is a BAR file. Here are the instructions for signing your BB10 app:
