Signing breaking widget extension?

Hi,

I've got a javascript widget extension which when run in debug on the simulator works just fine. When I call the following in my scriptablefunction's invoke method it registers the http filter.

HttpFilterRegistry.registerFilter(fqdn, filterPackage, true);

If i then try to get the filter package name:

HttpFilterRegistry.getFilter(fqdn);

I get a result a result back which is equal to the filterPackage argument supplied.

BUT when i sign my webworks application and run it on a real device or the simulator with device security enabled (the /secure switch)  I just get a null response.

Do i need to do something else and sign the jar file? If so how?

Wasn't getting the exception being thrown but this was the cause:
