"When we launched CrackBerry.com 10 years ago, we set out to make it a fun and useful destination where BlackBerry Smartphone owners could share their excitement and learn to unleash the full potential of their BlackBerry. A decade later, the CrackBerry community is as active and passionate as ever and I know our knowledgeable members and volunteers will be excited to welcome and assist more BlackBerry owners with their questions."

With FaceBook It depends exaclty you you want to use it
You need authentication and this is easiest on an external server
Do dox as with many APIs are lacking
The easiest solution is to send a message to your server then handle it that way and return what you need to know
I've done some experiments and they were extrremely successful
I would urge enctypted comms to your server though to keep everything safe
