Transition Effect in Web Application

Hi All,

We are developing Blackberry webworks application, in that we need some transition effects, so in config.xml we have given the below code.

<rim:loadingScreenbackgroundColor="#FFFFFF"onFirstLaunch="true"onRemotePageLaunch="true">

<rim:transitionEffecttype="fadeIn"direction="left"/>

</rim:loadingScreen>

but still it is not working. We have used only one HTML, to navigate one page to another page we used anchor tag <a>  in java script,

please guide us with some example to get transition effect.

Thanks,

Siva

Seems mistypes in the config?
I can not see the space character between element properties.

Ex: your config: <rim:transitionEffecttype="fadeIn"direction="left"/>

i think should be: <rim:transition Effecttype="fadeIn" direction="left"/>

and the same case for the other lines.

Re: Transition Effect in Web Application

Hi Praveen

That  is working  fine for different html pages, but in my application iam using only one HTML page with different divisions(<div> s) and  more javascript  classes.Transition Effect  is not working for different  <div>s in the same page.please let me know  whether it is( i.e  Transition Effect  in one HTML with different <div>s)  possible or not. If possible  Please give me one example.

Thanks and Regards

Re: Transition Effect in Web Application

Hi Siva,

The transition effects provided are applicable only between HTML pages. It will not be effective if the only DIVs are used in a single HTML page. I guess you are using DIVs to hide and show the functionality using javascript. You could then achieve transition effects using jQuery. See this sample app provided by RIM using jQuery Mobile.

Hi Siva,

You could use jQuery effects to achieve the transition effects. Please refer jQuery API for more details.
