Re: Trouble getting Tablet OS Signing Keys installed on OSX

[ Edited ]

The NoClassDefFoundError is notorious, it means a Java class is not accessible. Usually due to the classpath not being set correctly to include the specific .jar file (Java equivalent of a .dll)

I think I had a simular issue, since looking back at blackberry-signer.bat I have edited it to the following:

@echo off
set JAVA_HOME=c:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for TabletOS 2.2.0.5\jre
"%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java.exe" -cp "%~dp0\..\lib\EccpressoAll.jar;%~dp0\..\lib\EccpressoJDK15ECC.jar;%~dp0\..\lib\BarSigner.jar;%~dp0\..\lib\BarPackager.jar;%~dp0\..\lib\KeyTool.jar" net.rim.device.codesigning.barsigner.BarSigner %*

Also verify that BarSigner.jar is present in the lib folder located in the parent folder of the bin folder. That's the jar that contains the class net.rim.device.codesigning.barsigner.BarSigner

[edit] Oh wait, you're on a Mac. That only means that you don't run barsigner.bat but it's Mac equivalent shell script. The same holds true, it cannot find BarSigner.jar at the expected location (being the "$here/../lib" folder)
