We run into the same situation right now. Trying to get the latest SDK, recompile all and try again. Also probably get higher OS for actual device , since we noticed there is a higher OS upgrade available thru device options. Hope this will fix the problem.

Re: Unable to start application Error Code 8

This error code can occur when loading and trying to run unsigned apps onto a signed Tablet OS.

Signing it then loading solves the issue

Maybe check your "Debug token" in device?

Re: Unable to start application Error Code 8

Thanks for the reply but I actually reply to the wrong thread. The workaround is from here:

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Adobe-AIR-Development/Unable-to-start-application-error-code-...

Steps:

- Uninstall all version of your app

- Reboot playbook

- Install and launch again

Both AIR and Webwork found the same problem. Assume it is also in NDK
