Using Secure API

I just started on WebWorks 2.1 SDK and am trying to run my first demo app on my cruve 8900.

The  applicaiton is a simple one which  displays the PIN using blackberry.indentity feature...

All goes well , till I run the app on my device....it comes back with the following

"Error starting demo1:Module 'demo1' attempts to access a secure API'

My questions are

                 a. does this mean I can never use these secure APIs in my webwroks app ?

                 b. How do I give permission to my app to use these secure APIs ? may be Code sign ?

                 c. or is there any thing i can specify in config.xml. ?

NOTE : according to documentaiton config.xml should have <rimSmiley Tongueermit> only for playbook.

(which I have gone ahead and specified in my config.xml)

I will very much appreciate if  someone can point me to the right direction .

Re: Using Secure API

You have to sign your app before you install it in your device.
