Visual Studio 2010 Support

Will the Web-Plugin be supported under Visual Studio 2010 anytime soon? I can't find mention of it anywhere on the forums or the blackberry developer site itself.

Re: Visual Studio 2010 Support

We are not currently actively developing for Visual Studio 2010.  Timelines for 2010 support have not yet been defined.

We have been experimenting with VS 2010 and prototyping how our plug-in will work in that environment.  Right now we are determining both the demand for VS 2010 and where it may fit in our current release schedule to determine when we will provide a solution for our plug-in.

Hi Tweedle,

I'm not sure I understand your question.  Are you asking if we will be providing and early Beta for 2010?

Re: Visual Studio 2010 Support

Would be interesting to know what percentage of Visual Studio developers are MSDN subscribers. I figure the percentage would be high. With Visual Studio 2010 being released to MSDN now, won't most developers be upgrading?

I agree with the previous poster. It sounded like he was saying, in essence, that unless the Web-Plugin for Visual Studio is a dead end product, it only makes sense that it would progress with Visual Studio.

Re: Visual Studio 2010 Support

Absolutely.. the Plug-in will progress with Visual Studio, and we will have support for VS 2010.  It is all a matter of timing/demand/schedule on when we can make it available.

Re: Visual Studio 2010 Support

I would really like support for this device as many clients demand access to certain BI solutions I developed on their mobiles.

Re: Visual Studio 2010 Support

We have it on our roadmap as one of the next items that we will be looking at.  But unfortunately I don't have any dates to give you
