WEBWORK API FOR DEVICE SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I will like to know if there is any WebWorks BB OS API for device specific functions.

E.g.: An API that that power off device, or restart a device.

Thank you.

The default WebWorks API doesn't support the kind of things you want, but you can get more advanced by creating extensions.

@nathanpc

I assume if i have to develop an ext to achieve this, i will need to create a function that can perform a restart to the device.

Can i get a documentation to a core function or something that is tied to the effect.

You can check out the BlackBerry Java Documentation for the APIs you want to use.
