Re: WebWorks 2.0 Beta is Now Available

Is it fair to say that HTML5 developers interested in BB10 now have 2 ways of creating cross-platform apps?

  1. Using Apache Cordova, Phonegap, etc., loading the BB10 plugins, using custom scripts for signing on BB10, etc.
  2. Using WebWorks 2.0, a Cordova distribution which makes it easier to deploy on BB10, but can also be used to target other platforms.

BallRock - the icon is normally higher up on the list (not in a sub-folder)

Try typing "webworks" after pressing the windows key to filter the list.

usr501 - %HOMEPATH% refers to your OS home directory

Usually it's C:\Users\<your name>\

Create your BlackBerryID token

  1. Go to https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/login/ and login using your BlackBerry ID credentials.
  2. Type and confirm the password you want to use for your BlackBerry ID token, and then click Get Token.

[ Edited ]

deleting it. it is not useable for me.

no simulator integrated, just a website where I could change the config.xml which after every restart changes app name into WebWorks blablabla...

Also I can not open existing projects which were started with ripple and written with aptana or wordpad.

So why should I use it?

It would be better to upgrade existing webworks so that we can use variables for videos instead of fixed width and heigth.

back to ripple, that worked nearly well and there is a simulator which opens existing projects too.

thank you, come again
