Webworks jQuery compatibility

Hi,

I have written and compiled a webworks application that utilizes jQuery mobile; when testing it (using the simulator) on a 9300 it works fine. However, on a bold 9700 (using both the simulator and the real phone) I just get a grey screen.

To check that this was not my application I then downloaded and compiled the simple jQuery sample application and tried it out with similar results. On the 9300 it works fine, but on the 9700 all formatting and JS is lost.

Her is a screenshot Smiley Happy

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Webworks jQuery compatibility

JQuery works fine on torch 9800 and playbook simulator, haven't tested on other versions like bold and curve.

Re: Webworks jQuery compatibility

Don't use jQuery .hover() function on the PlayBook. They do not fire. If you want to port a hover method use custom

.onTouchStart()

.onTouchMove()

.onTouchEnd()

events.

Good luck
