When selecting from a combo box, the selection is not correct

I have a web application developed in .NET.

It displays a combo box with options.  When you select one option the actual index received is offset to the option above on the list.

This is happening in the following blackberry:

Model is 8330 (Curve) by Sprint.V4.3.0.127

Platform 3.1.0.73

This application was working fine before with previous versions of the blackberry, it seems that it started with new ones, like the one I mentioned above.

Could someone help on this? Thanks

Re: When selecting from a combo box, the selection is not correct

Is this a basic form and HTTP Post, or are you working with JavaScript as well?  Can you provide a link to a sample page?

Thanks Mark, and sorry for the delay.

It is a simple mobilepage form with no javascript.  Here is the html:

Re: When selecting from a combo box, the selection is not correct

Can you capture and post the HTML that is being generated from this ASP page?  This could vary based on your server configuration.

The following post explains how to enable logging that would allow to you view the HTML content being sent to the BlackBerry Browser in the MDS Simulator logs.

I think I set all the values in the rimpublic.property file but I do not see anything in the logs.

You can seethe login page at https://secure.appliancewhse.com/awsalesmobile.

Re: When selecting from a combo box, the selection is not correct

The issue seems to stem from these lines and the fact that they have empty values.

<input type="hidden" name="__EVENTTARGET" value="">

<input type="hidden" name="__EVENTARGUMENT" value="">

Removing them or giving them an actual value seems to work around the issue.

Re: When selecting from a combo box, the selection is not correct

Those input fields are generated by ASP and i cannot manipulate them.  They are for the post back function.

I tried to see the html generated for the BB using the MSD simulator logs.  But i am not been able to do it. Am i missing something in the setup.  I followed the other web page with instructions.

Thanks for your help

Mark, finally I was able to move the app. to regular http.  Here is the html rendered to the BB simulator.  I do not see the lines you mention in your message.
