Why my Alpha Device is behaving awkword

It drains battery very fast

apps crashes anytime

Sometime it fails to restart???

My Alpha Device is also behaving like same. I think that blackberry running some processes to do those things to prevent by using the alpha device as a portable media player.

Yeah! i guesss they are avoiding it cos they don't want devices to be sold on ebay. 

 

Bad Battery Life,

 

And i also assume that the phone function will not be given for a very very long time.

The devices are not battery-optimized partially becaues battery optimization (power management) is usually one of the last stages to be rolled out in a new device. These device will unlikely be battery optimized anyway because they are not made for production/sell to consumers.

Update the device software. this time if u update batterry backup is more concidered with before

There is a difference between not battery-optimised and "completely unreliable and crash prone". How are we supposed to test these devices in the field if we need to keep them plugged in at all times?

That's really right. If you want to give it a try outside using some APIs (GPS, NFC, ..) it isn't quite well because of battery drain.

Running latest OS version 10.0.6.386 shown up for me in the BB Desktop Software.
