When you added com.blackberry.app plugin to your webworks 2.0 project,
and try to use: [ webworks serve ] to check out the app
it fails, and the app stops loading.
but when deployed on devices,it's OK.
Please fix it.
the exception stack is below:

You cannot access plugin APIs via the "serve" command. It is meant for two purposes:
1. To quickly edit your display logic before deploying to device or simulator.
2. To avoid the need to redeploy your app after each change:
- Add all plugins you wish to use
- Modify config.xml, setting content src="http://<your computer's IP>:8000/index.html"
- After each change, run "serve" and then refresh the app.

Thanks for your reply,
but you don't get what I'm talking about.
when added com.blackberry.app and don't use it
try " webworks serve " , you got error.
when added anything else,like com.blackberry.invoke
when use " webworks serve " ,it's all ok.
so you see? it's the issue in "com.blackberry.app" plugin.
by the way,
my plugin :
don't have such errors either.

I was able to do the following without any problem:
webworks create appserve cd appserve webworks plugin add com.blackberry.app webworks serve
Perhaps an error is being thrown inside your application code which is preventing UI logic from running. I recommend loading WebInspector to check the console for errors.

I'm trying the porting of my WebWorks App to the newer GOLD SDK.
I've the same error. see
The problem is that the devireready event is not fired and so there is no possibility to use the "webworks serve" utility for quickly see changes to layout!
In this way it's not useful.
If I remove the com.blackberry.app plugin I can see the app in my browser, but when deployed on the device most features don't work ( ex: swipe down menu).
How I can use the "webworks serve" utility adding the also the com.blackberry.app plugin?
