Can we use the config.xml which are given in sample app codes?

IMO it depends on your use case and the functionality your app wants to use on the device (eg. phone/device identity, gps, shared folder, ...). Have a closer look to the config.xml documentation for WebWorks to put together the stuff needed/supported for your device and OS your request is referring to.

ok now its done but the app when i install the app should not zoom if the user zooms and the app should be in landscape mode only

Add the following piece of source to the head element in your index.htm(l) or whatevener your config.xml is pointing to in the content-tag:

 

<meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0, width=device-width, user-scalable=no, target-densitydpi=device-dpi" />

This will prevent scaling and zooming within the app.
