I'm getting this error trying to install it on my PlayBook. The author in my app's config file matches the author shown on the debug token screen of my tablet.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Ah yes. Forget the bit about the blackberry-tablet file!
You've not got an special characters or white space in your author name have you?

Strange, it started giving me the same error again today. I tried resetting my PlayBook and deploying a new token, but no success so far.

The problem seems to be with Ripple. I can package and install my app from command line.
But in Ripple I choose 'Package & Install'. Ripple says the build succeeded and lights up my PlayBook, but the app doesn't appear.
