Accepted Solution

getURL() of BrowserContentBaseImpl

Hi everyone,

I want to get the URL currently user has opened in the browser, into one variable. I tried something like this...

BrowserContentBaseImpl bcbi = (BrowserContentBaseImpl)RenderingSession.getNewInstance().getBrowserContent(....)

here i will need few parameters, Objects like

HttpConnection, RenderingApplication, and sometimes flags or in some case URL it self.

Please can any one tell me where to find the solution if already exists. Or how to look at this problem?

Re: getURL() of BrowserContentBaseImpl

You can't get the URL of the page the user has opened in the browser. That would be a privacy hole.

The getURL() method you are looking at is used when you are embedding a browser field into your own application. If you do that (as opposed to using the default system browser) then you can get the URL, but you also have to provide the content for the URL anyway.
