They must be filtering on the keyboard type as well. That should be fixed simultaneously with 10.1, but I'll check on it this week.

Works on later builds on the Q10. The current beta out there is from before the fix went in. M or ALT-M both put in a decimal. Similarly I or ALT-I puts in a minus sign, and ALT-2 puts in 'e'.

I think this thread should focus on the Z10 - all bets are off for the Q10 since it has hard keys including a decimal point. The issue raised by this thread relates to the Z10's virtual onscreen keyboard - when browsing a number type input field, the wrong virtual keyboard is called up preventing any way of entering a decimal. Clearly this is a bug and needs to be fixed.
We're holding out hope for the forthcoming 10.1 release. I just wish we knew when that would be.

Doh! Never mind... blame my QA team.. despite downloading the update earlier it seems it was never actually installed so it was still on 10.0.x! Installing now, thanks Tim.

I am much relieved. I was so worried that somehow it had been missed or that I was going completely crazy.
