invokeEmailComposer() Format Email (bold/italicize etc)

[ Edited ]

Hi,

Is there anyway to format the text we pass in to invokeEmailComposer()?

Because when I try HTML Formatting:

blackberry.invoke.card.invokeEmailComposer({
	subject: "Subject",
	body: "<b>Name: </b>" + "\r\n" + "Email: ",
	to: ["test@test.com"]
}, function (done) {
	console.log(done);
}, function (cancel) {
	console.log(cancel)
}, function (invokeError) {
	console.log(invokeError);
});

 I get this:

So is there no way to format (bold/italicize) text passed into the body option of invokeEmailComposer()?

Thanks,

John

Re: invokeEmailComposer() Format Email (bold/italicize etc)

Hi John,

Unfortunately the Email Composer invocation only supports plain-text at this time. This would make for a good feature request in JIRA though.

Hi oros,

I see. That's too bad. Hopefully we get to see a feature like this in the near future.

Appreciate your response though. Thanks!
