invoking browser on playbook

Hi guys,

I am trying to invoke Browser with BlackBerry domain on PlayBook. It works on BlackBerry Handheld but not on PlayBook.

var args = new blackberry.invoke.BrowserArguments('http://www.blackberry.com');
	blackberry.invoke.invoke(blackberry.invoke.APP_BROWSER, args);

any inputs?

also how do we see EventLogs on PlayBook?

thanks

yosoh

I tried to catch what's happening I get the following error now:

can't find variable: blackberry

Re: invoking browser on playbook

Is this code running in the onload or inline script in your webpage?  There is a known issue on the first beta release of the WebWorks SDK on PlayBook where the injection of the BlackBerry APIs happens after the onload fires.

Re: invoking browser on playbook

Works like a charm...

function popbrow(url) {
  var args = new blackberry.invoke.BrowserArguments(url);
  blackberry.invoke.invoke(blackberry.invoke.APP_BROWSER, args);
}
