is there anything webworks cannot do but java platform can

Hi, everyone:

i'm preparing for a bb10 webworks project and estimating the risk now. Is the webworks strong enough to be sufficient

for any work originally done by java client platform? I'd  be appreciate for your reply

You should list the APIs you need and see if they exist.
As far as the UI is concerned, for apps, it's slower than native.
Ads and analytics are not yet supported.

So it really depends on what you need to deliver.

Yes, if you are building directly for BlackBerry you may want to consider Cascades. WebWorks is really for people familiar with Web Tech, and want to build cross platform. So if you have no plans to port to other systems, and you'd like to follow BB10 user interface guidlelines Cascades is a great platform.

Note: You will need to write some C++ Cascades code to accomplish things and learn a bit about QML. But the process is not overly complex.

Call the pdf reader in a sheet that will slide over your app. It will look integrated due to the way the OS is built.
