is webworks 2 compatible with android 4.x ?

I just finished version 1 of my app and sumitted to blackberry world.

But i don't want to sit still, and i was wondering if webworks 2 is compatible with android.

I don't ask for code help, because at webworks 1 i needed to include local/webworks.js and now local/codova.js.

In android i always needed to do codova, is this the same codova or an other one?

does BBUI work on android? jquery mobile did, is there a way to connect to bbm also on android or is this only for blackberry?

I totally understand that not everything will work on android (like swipedown menu)

But because BBM on android uses the same layout as they do on BlackBerry.

And is there (maybe) a list of things that will not work, it is a webworks 2 app, i don't use much special things except connect to bbm, invite to download, link to bbm channel

Re: is webworks 2 compatible with android 4.x ?

From the command line, cd to your project directory:

webworks platform add android

None of the "com.blackberry" APIs will work, including BBM unforunately. All "org.apache.cordova" APIs will work.

I'm not sure if anyone has actually tested BBUI on android. Some of the components (like context menu and toast) rely on BB10 APIs.

[ Edited ]

i can deal with replacing my toast for something else on android, as long if bb.pushScreen works.

Can i also add blackberry 6/7 support for my in webworks 2?

edit, does not really work:

C:\Documents and Settings\Asmooh\Mijn documenten\coding\photorate3>webworks platform create android
Installed platforms: blackberry10
Available platforms: android, firefoxos, wp7, wp8, windows8

C:\Documents and Settings\Asmooh\Mijn documenten\coding\photorate3>webworks platform add android
[Error: The provided path "C:\Documents and Settings\Asmooh\Mijn documenten\codi
ng\photorate3\platforms\android" is not an Android project.]

In both situations it doesnt work
