I have a mobile web application that is integrated with maps. On the iPhone we can specify the url: maps://maps.googl.com and it will launch the google maps iphone application. Is there a way to do the same thing on Blackberry? Many of our clients use the blackberry and have the google maps app installed.

You could launch the Google Maps app from your java app. This url contains a sample: http://www.blackberryforums.com/developer-forum/14

The BlackBerry browser is not currently integrated with the Google Maps application. If you wish to submit a feature enhancement please do so using the developer issue tracker: https://www.blackberry.com/jira/secure/Dashboard.j
Please note you can invoke the BlackBerry maps application from the BlackBerry browser. The following page describes how to do this:
Finally if you are building a BlackBerry Widget application, you can use the Invoke API to launch (and provide parameters to) any 3rd party application including Google Maps.
