loading local file with parameter <a href="page2.html?foo=bar">

I've tested my HTML5/javascript code using mainly Google Chrome - and it's fine in my dev environment.   But when I transfer to the tablet simulator (0.9.3), I've run into an issue I can't work around.

I'm trying to redirect to another page with a variable:

<a href="page2.html?foo=bar">

I'm sure there's just something odd that I'm doing wrong... but I can't figure it out.  Without the parameter, it loads the other page.   As soon as I attempt to pass a parameter with the URL, I get:

Error   A network error occurred.   Please try again later.

The firebug panel doesn't launch, so I have no idea how to figure out what error is happening behind the scenes.

Tested through firebug console (and all work without param, fail with param):

The sample protocol URL in the documentation does show passing parameters without issues:

Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi Amber,

This is a known issue on the 0.9.3 beta build.  More details here:

This has since been resolved and will be fixed in the 0.9.4 simulator due out shortly
