I'm using localStorage to store values in one of my apps.
I'm ready to upload a new version of the app, and wondered whether the localStorage from the preceeding version will be available to the new version.
In other words, when storing data using localStorage in a HTML5 app, is the storage...
1. local to the browser across all apps
2. local to an application across all versions (and if so what identifies the app as unique - for example the name in the config.xml?)
3. local to an application version but not across versions
4. some other scope
Does anyone have any experience in this area?
