Which video codec is being used for the content inside of the mp4 container? It may not be supported.

Ah I see. If the video was recorded using the PlayBook camera itself, the video codec should definitely be supported.
Is the path specified to the video file correct?

Does your config.xml contain:
Here is the link to the KitchenSink app on Webworks-Samples, the video section
Use that for reference, and see if you are missing anything.

this link doesnt work
I recorded 3 1+ hour videos , 2 show a picture thumbnail and play fine. The first video I recorded to 399mb says its an MP4. Blackberry link brought the same file to my hard drive and stll won't play. Odd that 2 videos played and one doesnt.
It's new memory card. It doesnt show the file until I do a search "my" video folder on shows 2 that work.
