A Newbie

Hi Everyone, I've just bought myself a pre-loved blackberry through vodafone. As no instruction book came with it, I'm still working stuff out, I'll get there.

Re: A Newbie

Hi and welcome to the forums alicat27! Smiley Happy

A couple of places for you to visit: Blackberry 101    Tips & Tricks

Be sure to find your way over to The Curve Forum.  And don't worry, I started out on a Curve 8330 (trackball and all) and life has been great ever since.  The search box is your friend; use it.  You will find out so much about your device.  And, above all, have a good time while you are doing it.

Let us know how you are doing and if you have any questions/issues; search in the Curve Forum (search box at top right of page) Can't find what you're looking for? Start your own thread. Other users will be there to help.

Just be sure to keep coming back. Happy to have you here! Smiley Very Happy

Re: A Newbie

Thanks for the advice, when I try to set up my email, the only option to come up is to use a work email with a blackberry enterprise server, no other options.

Hi again alicat27.  It sounds like you need to contact your carrier and subscribe to the Blackberry data plan.   Once you have subscribed you should be able to set up your BB Internet Service email.  Once you have your data plan, see this KB article:. Setting up BB Email from device

Post back and let us know how it goes.
