antivirus

Hi. This is my first time in the forum even though I have had a Blackberry for a couple of years. I need to find out what antivirus I should use. I've never used one on my BB but I know I need to. Will anybody help me with this?

Re: antivirus

I think I welcomed you earlier - (I think) but I will welcome you again since you are on the welcome and introduction board!  I do not believe BlackBerries need antivirus  -- anyway, please find the kind of phone you have or the area of question you have and try to post it under that link. It will help others searching for answers . many people have the same questions~

Re: antivirus

Hi gemini66 and welcome to the forums! Smiley Happy

As othere have posted, I don't believe you need to worry about viruses on your BB.  Haven't seen any posts about cases to date.  The viruses those idiots  write tend to be Windows executable files; files the BB doesn't use or even recognize.

Keep coming back.  We look forward to seeing more of you around the forums.  You can learn a tremendous amount about your device even when you don't have an issue.  I've had many "ah ha" moments.  You know, when you say to yourself, "so that's how I do that."  Smiley Very Happy
