When using BlackBerry trademarks, images or logos in the BlackBerry World you must follow and adhere to the required guidelines.


Within BlackBerry World, the following are examples that will prevent your application from being posted for sale:


Acceptable use of the term BlackBerry

  • BlackBerry®
  • RIM®
  • BlackBerry® smartphones
  • [Your Application Name] for use with BlackBerry smartphones
  • [Your Application Name] works with BlackBerry smartphones

Unacceptable use of the term BlackBerry

  • Blackberry
  • blackberry
  • BlackBerry's
  • BlackBerries
  • BlackBerry [Your Application Name]
  • [Your Application Name]berry

The previous items are only examples of what is and is not acceptable use of the term BlackBerry with BlackBerry World.


When submitting an application to BlackBerry World, consider appropriate usage of screen shots. You should only include the screen view of your application, and you should remove any BlackBerry smartphone shells from the screen shots.
